After my first encounter with the Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis) last Sunday, I decided to see If there was some way to determine when to see the aurora. I found this great site called spaceweather.com, that gave a short forecast of when I could go looking. Today was the day, and it was amazing! At first there were none, but all of a sudden the skies exploded!
I was out shooting night-shots today, and just as I turned around to finish for the day, the sky torned green and you could see the northern lights. I’ve seen them before, but never had I’ve had a chance to take pictures of them. Unfortiunatly the encounter was short, and the sky was turning foggy. Check out the ones I’ve got 🙂
